Miracle! A 70 Year Old Woman Gives Birth To Her First Child .

There was a wide jubilation, as an Indian woman became a mother for the first time at the age of 70.

She declared that it was never too late to become a mother, and that her life was now complete.

Daljinder Kaur gave birth to a baby boy after two years of IVF treatment at a reproductive facility in Haryana's northern state.

Kaur and her 79-year-old husband, Mohinder Singh Gill, received their first child after nearly five decades of marriage; this stirred jubilation

“I feel blessed to be able to hold my own baby. I had lost hope of becoming a mother ever,” said Kaur.

The couple, who had been married for 46 years, had virtually given up hope of ever having a child, according to Kaur, and had faced ridicule in a society where infertility is sometimes considered as a divine curse.

“God heard our prayers. My life feels complete now. I am looking after the baby all by myself, I feel so full of energy.

“My husband is also very caring and helps me as much as he can,” Kaur told AFP from the northern city of Amritsar.

“When we saw the (IVF) advert, we thought we should also give it a try as I badly wanted to have a baby of my own,” she said.

“Everyone asked me to adopt a baby, but I never wanted to. I had faith in Almighty and knew I will bear my child one day,”! A 70 Year Old Woman Gives Birth To Her First Child
